Compassion and ACT: Perspective Taking

We can get bogged down by inflexible and limiting views of ourself and others. Perspective taking helps us step back and take in a grander view-one that transcends time, recognizes our impermanence and honors our interconnectedness. Based on ACT principles, you’ll explore perspective taking with yourself and others through experiential exercises, meditation, & yoga, including:
- Taking in the view of your life
- Perspectives from your many selves
- Looking behind the eyes of another
- Moving from egocentric to allocentric perspective
- Transcending time and exploring possibility in impermanence
- Visualization, mindfulness and embodied yoga
