We all have different values, different histories, and different issues around moving our bodies. But no matter our psychological obstacles, those bodies all need to move! The most successful movers are those who are able to align their individual values with movement. But what are your values? Could you list them?
This dynamic workshop with psychologist Dr. Diana Hill and biomechanist Katy Bowman, M.S. will help you identify your deepest values, connect them to movement and put them to work!
You’ll leave with a few key values, three “core moves” and clear methods for using your values to bust through familiar excuses we can all relate to.
Come dressed to write and move!
Ground-sitting/writing time will be peppered with workshop exercises that will have you connecting to your values with some playful, physical embodiment. Come spend an hour with Diana and Katy and leave with your movement “north” so you can reorient yourself to physical activity in various ways and settings that work for and are meaningful to YOU.
The workshop will be followed by a book signing with Diana and Katy signing their new book, “I Know I Should Exercise, But…”
