Compassion and ACT: Values-Rich Living

Values are an inner compass that direct you toward a life with purpose and meaning. Having purpose and meaning after trauma and loss is associated with post-traumatic growth. Values can also energize you when you are burned out and worn down. Based on ACT principles, this workshop will use writing exercises, discussion, meditation & embodied yoga to explore Values-rich actions and practice:
- Discovering what matters in loss and pain
- Choosing values in the domains of work, family, relationships, community and health
- Turning toward values moment-to-moment
- Visualization, mindfulness and embodied yoga
