About Jenn Kennedy
Dr. Jenn Kennedy earned a PhD in Clinical Sexology and worked as a Sexologist. Before this, she also earned a Master in Clinical Psychology and trained with both the Community Counseling and Education Center (CCEC) and the Pacific Pride Foundation (PPF) in Santa Barbara. Additionally, she uses the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy and Terry Real’s concepts in her work. Dr. Kennedy is trained to work with trauma via Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is certified in Sex Addiction Therapy (CSAT). Dr. Kennedy is also a board-certified Sex Therapist.
Dr. Kennedy has considerable experience working with LGBT individuals and couples. From 2017-2022, she taught as adjunct faculty in the master’s program at Antioch University Santa Barbara and is the past president of the Santa Barbara Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (SB-CAMFT). In addition to one-on-one, couples therapy, and intensives, Dr. Kennedy also runs a small group offering focused on sexual health for women called The Pleasure Circle. She writes and podcasts on sexual health through The Pleasure Project.
